EPISODE 17
Important, Not Urgent
Focused on the urgent, we may have forgotten the important.
We are living through an important moment. A historical period charged with expectations of change, and an emotional weight that makes us look to the future with concern. Having expectations, waiting for change, also carries the risk of disappointment. And disappointment can lead to frustration.
So busy pursuing an agenda full of urgent things, we may have forgotten to make room, here and now, for the projects that matter.
Those projects that, paradoxically, risk seeming secondary because they do not require an immediate solution, but that allow us to build the future.
And this applies to brands, too. Building a brand means working on what is not necessarily urgent, but will be important tomorrow: making decisions, evolving, innovating, preparing for change before it becomes a necessity. And we need to look to the future with confidence. Confidence means being able to say that we have done our best. Without waiting. Without fearing change or the risk of disappointment. But with the awareness that we have acted, that we have done something, that we have taken the initiative.
Because the future is not built when it becomes urgent. It is built while we still have time to choose.
